The National Award Ceremony for Companies and State-Owned Enterprises serves as a form of appreciation for organizations that have employed persons with disabilities. This initiative aims to encourage other companies to do the same. The Government of Indonesia has ratified the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD), which was enacted through Law No. 19 of 2011.
